Tourism to boost growth in Lao PDR
Over the past five years, tourism in Lao PDR has been slowly on the rise. The land-locked country may not boast paradisiacal beaches like its neighbors Malaysia or Indonesia nor does it have a skyline similar to Singapore, but Lao PDR does have its own unique beauty that’s unlike the rest of the region. While the rest of the region seems to be in a frantic race for development, Lao PDR manages to retain the idyllic and picturesque charm the region used to be known for.
